Dr. Vincenzo Giubba - President, Accademia Italiana

For nearly 50 years Italian designers have given rise to a style and to trends that have influenced fashion, interior design, product design, and visual communications all over the world. Our school is an international institute that aims to propose its own study method in the field of design drawing from the experience acquired in Italy and spreading it throughout the world. Today design is an international phenomenon. It consists of proposing one’s own ideas in a globalized world. Today young designers are called upon to interpret collective dreams and to solidify them through objects, images, clothing. These dreams are a part of life in any part of the world.

Bangkok is an important reference point in the Orient because here there is potential that can give an innovative contribution to international design, here the young people are greatly motivated and there is a huge interest in this field and in the applied arts. Young designers in Thailand can help Thai industry to grow and to acquire a primary role on the worldwide scene.
